The registrations are open to all Indian girls who love to become Miss India title for the year 2019. The auditions are held in about 30 cities across India. Those who are an Indian citizen and in the age range 18-25 can apply and participate in the auditions. The ages are calculated in reference to the date 31st December 2019. Those who are 26 or 27 can also apply but can only compete for the runner up positions.
The applicant should be single, not married and not engaged. The height requirement is 5′ 5″ or above. The organisers state that there will be no Bikini contest at the auditions. The application form demands three photographs which are a close-up, mid-shot and a full length.
Those engaged in the model industry and like to apply should know that if they are under any contract while they are called for the auditions. In that case, the candidature will be disqualified. Also, the applicant should not have any cases, civil or criminal charge against, at the time of auditions.

How Miss India is being selected?
From the auditions that are held at 30 various venues, contestants will be selected for corresponding State crown contest. There will four State crowns. Finally, the State crowns are selected for Miss India 2019 Title contest held at Mumbai.
